I wanted to emphasize the timelessness of the drama by designing a set that broke with the antiquity of the space of representation, the “Teatre Grec”, a real Greek theatre of Barcelona.

 

Marble is a material that refers to the ancient cities and yet contemporary. This symbolizes how rich was Troy but being finally destroyed represents the destruction of the city and the fragmentation of families.
